Sindh’s elderly population is growing, with many senior citizens living in poverty, neglect, or abandonment. Sindh Rural Support Foundation (SRSF) proposes the establishment of district-wise Shelter Homes / Old Age Houses to provide safe accommodation, healthcare, food, and emotional support for the most vulnerable elderly men and women. The project aims to establish 30 district-wise centers, each accommodating 30 elderly residents, with services including lodging, meals, medical care, psychosocial support, and social activities. The project will be implemented over 12 months, with the aim of creating sustainable and replicable models for elder care across Sindh Province.
