Refund Policy

1. Introduction

Sindh Rural Support Foundation (SRSF) is a non-governmental, non-profit organization working to improve the lives of vulnerable communities through education, healthcare, clean drinking water, livelihoods, emergency relief, and other community development programmes.

This Refund Policy explains how SRSF handles requests relating to donations made through its website, https://srsfpakistan.org/, or other approved donation channels.

2. General Donation Refund Policy

Donations made to SRSF are voluntary contributions intended to support the Foundation’s charitable and community development activities. As donations may be allocated or committed to programme activities, they are generally non-refundable.

However, SRSF may review refund requests in exceptional circumstances, including duplicate payments, verified payment-processing errors, or unauthorized transactions.

3. Duplicate or Incorrect Payments

If a donor accidentally makes the same donation more than once or notices an incorrect transaction amount, the donor may contact SRSF and request a review.

SRSF will verify the relevant transaction records before deciding whether a refund or another appropriate correction is possible.

4. Unauthorized Transactions

Donors who believe that a payment was made without their authorization should contact SRSF and, where appropriate, immediately notify their bank or payment service provider.

SRSF will review the information provided and cooperate with the relevant payment provider where necessary. Any refund or reversal will depend on the investigation, verification, and applicable payment-provider procedures.

5. How to Request a Refund

To request a review, please email srsf.pk@gmail.com with the subject line Donation Refund Request.

Please include the following information:

  • Donor’s name and contact details.

  • Donation date and amount.

  • Payment method used.

  • Transaction reference or payment receipt, if available.

  • A brief explanation of the reason for the request.

For your security, do not email your full payment-card number, PIN, password, or card security code.

6. Review and Processing

SRSF will review the request and may seek additional information to verify the transaction. Submission of a request does not guarantee that a refund will be approved.

Where a refund is approved, it will normally be processed through the original payment method where feasible and permitted by the relevant payment provider. Processing times may vary depending on the bank, payment gateway, and transaction type.

7. Donations Already Allocated

Where a donation has already been allocated, committed, or used for a charitable programme, a refund may not be possible. SRSF will consider each request fairly, subject to applicable legal requirements, donor restrictions, and the circumstances of the payment.

Zakat donations are subject to applicable Shariah principles and SRSF’s approved Zakat management procedures. Any request involving a Zakat donation will be reviewed accordingly.

8. Payment Provider Charges

Any transaction, reversal, or refund charges imposed by a bank or payment service provider will be handled in accordance with the provider’s applicable rules and the law. SRSF will explain any relevant limitation to the donor where applicable.
